Welcome to my post for Kylie Bertucci’s International Highlights Top Ten Winners Blog Hop! Let me first start by saying thank you so much to all those who voted for me in the international highlights earlier this month! Today I am featuring a card that I made using the baby wipe technique!
This technique involves creating a custom ink pad using a baby wipe and SU Re-inkers. I used this for the background stamps as well as for the shading in the butterfly wings. This is one of my favorite new techniques I have learned. I love how easy it is to do and how many different cards you can make using any color combination imaginable!
To make the butterflies really stand out I used clear embossing powder to emboss them after stamping. I also curled the wings and glued down the center of each one while putting a dimensional or two under the wings to give them all a 3-D effect.
If you would like to make this card, check out the list of products used below.
Most importantly, I hope my stamping inspired you to get creative and make something you love!
